“Three of the five pieces shown on this page are charcoal and graphite pencil on Bristol board. One piece is trompe-l’oeil, a 3D illusion that looks real but couldn’t actually exist. Another piece is a watercolor portrait done on Arches watercolor paper with Windsor Newton paints. The final piece was inspired by an artist named Derek Gores. It is magazine pieces glued onto canvas with a two-to-one mixture of Elmer’s glue. It has a UV glaze to inhibit fading.”
