The Poetry & Spoken word performance at the Yellow House will be followed by an acoustic session by Cathi Gg Mitchell from 8:00pm – 8:30pm

Thasia Anne is a retired social worker and lifelong poet from Erie Pennsylvania poet who has six books of poetry and five novels published through Alien Buddha Press. She also has Cable Access Media programming; Poetry, Prose, and Personalities and Never Quit-Hers. Her favorite accomplishment is a yearly live poetry production WOW, or Women of Word with a Few Man Made Words which has been WOWing people for 12 years. Nicholas Constantino

Nicholas Constantino is a freelance poet and writer who lives in Erie, Pennsylvania. His poetry focuses on central themes of religion and inspiration. He also specializes in childrens poems.

Barbara Crone

Barbara Crone wonders and observes, and her musings form themselves into poems and paintings. She loves her family, her students, and the gift of speech which she believes should be used with the utmost reverence.

She does her best to honor the gift with her humble offerings and asks for mercy when she stumbles.

David Devine is a poet and a songwriter. His poetry has appeared on NPR’s “The Writers
Almanac
” and “The Prairie Home Companion” and the weekly “West County Journal”. You can

Luchetta “Cookee” Manus is a mother of 4 kids and grandmother of 6. She is an author, poet, photographer, visual artist, art teacher, and mural technician. Luchetta’s art work and writings are in various spaces in the local Erie area where she resides. Luchetta’s work includes, but not limited to radio, television, plays, and writing books of poetry. Luchetta is a community activist who enjoys helping others and advocating for victims of domestic violence, youth, and other marginalized people.

Cathi Gg Mitchell

5 Joys: Joy Journal

Cathi Gg Mitchell is a Word Expressionist and founder of Out of the Abundance. She has been writing poetry since the age of 8. She is a member of the Chroma Guild, PennWriters, the Unsealed, and 814 Poets and also has performed in WOW Women of Word with a few Man Made Words. Gg’s poems can be found on the walls of the Historical Institute of Culture and the African American Experience and she has judged numerous poetry contests. She is currently in the process of curating a photopoetry book about Erie, PA.
