Hello, my name is Pattie Lear. I recently found my hidden talent and my new passion, Fluid Art Paint Pouring. After the passing of both of my parents within two years, I used a little bit of the money they left me to purchase a whole bunch of acrylic paint supplies. I had been watching many videos on YouTube, and my daughters, Kristen and Kayla, along with my three youngest grandkids who wanted to learn how to do acrylic paint pouring. That was in June of 2023.
By August, I was hooked and really getting serious with trying the various techniques available in fluid art. By early September, I started a YouTube channel, Facebook page, Instagram, and TikTok all to chronicle my journey of learning how to master fluid art. Just look up “Let’s Pour with Pattie” across social media. I haven’t looked back since.
Today, I am working hard at starting a business with my artwork. I started selling at local craft fairs and vendor markets, making more than just art on canvases, such as coasters, clocks, jewelry (with the paint that falls on my table during a painting after it dries), magnets, jars and canisters and more. Now my focus is getting my artwork in local galleries and getting accepted into actual art shows and getting into anywhere that I can get more eyes on my artwork.
