My artwork is a reflection of my love of nature and life. The pieces I created are acrylic paintings on canvas and drawings using colored pencil and alcohol markers. As a young mother, I’ve had to make a lot of sacrifices. When I got pregnant, I had to set my goals of pursuing art through college and possibly a career to the side, though it’s the most rewarding sacrifice I’ve ever made. I’ve tried to spend more time this year reconnecting with my passions. My goals have been to improve my skills, create things that I love, and to build my portfolio.

I create works of things that I draw peace and inspiration from. Things like death and enjoying
the simple things have been challenging themes in my life lately, and I’ve tried to reflect that in
my work. Art has always been a huge part of my life and one of my greatest passions and I hope to
pursue it for as long as I can. While I mostly create my art for myself, I hope viewers will be able
to enjoy the things I have created.
