Graduating Seniors
Devyn Agnello – 12th grade
“My art interests include painting, drawing, crafting, and sculpting. I love to work with mediums such as pencil, clay, and acrylic paint. My favorite art subjects are animals and nature. I like to draw these things because the items in nature are imperfect and not ordinary, and animals are forever changing. Not one is like the other. These things are all diverse. Art inspires me because no matter how long I spend on a project, I could never lose the love for it.” – Devyn Agnello
Payton Heath – 12th grade
“Hello, my name is Payton Heath, a graduating senior. Since elementary school, I’ve been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Expressing myself verbally has never been a strong suit, but that has never stopped me from doing so in other ways. Some of my artwork has a deeper meaning, leaving the viewer to interpret what’s displayed, while others are silly, cute things. My favorite medium by far has to be clay, as it’s satisfying to squeeze/mold with my hands ( I’m a tactile learner ), making pots thrown on the wheel or clay shakers ( I have examples displayed ). Even though I love art, I am pursuing a career in nursing, hoping to specialize as a Nurse Practitioner in women’s health and/or pediatrics. Art is a hobby – something I enjoy – I don’t want to become burnt out on something I enjoy so much.” – Payton Heath
Haylee Severance – 12th grade
“When it comes to my art style, I am an open book. I enjoy creating acrylic paintings, graphite drawings, ink illustrations, and have dabbled in ceramic art. I often draw/paint animals and mushrooms. After high school, I plan to attend IMBC and study for a career as a veterinary technician.” – Haylee Severance
Rhaelynn Skinner – 12th grade
“My name is Rhae Skinner, and I am a digital artist and designer! I love to draw people in my own unique style primarily inspired by anime and manga, but I also enjoy studying realism and doing figure studies. I love to create my own characters and stories, expressing myself through them by creating extensive lore and unique universes. I have learned a lot of what I know through my education at the Erie County Technical School where I studied Art and Design for Business, making me a very versatile and experienced artist. My next goal is to graduate from Pennwest Edinboro as an art major!” – Rhaelynn Skinner
Lower Classmen
Olivia Schoonover – 11th Grade
“I like to paint with both watercolor and acrylic paints. I also like to work with clay and glaze. Most of my art is inspired by animals or nature. After high school, I hope to go into pharmaceutical science.” – Olivia Schoonover
Avery Marino – 10th Grade
“My art is typically in the form of realistic graphite portraits, but I enjoy manga or comic-like styles, too, as well as digital art. I would like to create a webcomic of my own in the future that will mainly incorporate pen drawings, but I will likely commission and sell realistic drawings, too. I might not major in art in college, but I still want to be involved with it in one way or another.” – Avery Marino
Alyzibeth Potter – 10th Grade
“I love to draw very detailed and creative artwork. My favorite types of art are drawing, acrylic painting, and anything hands-on. I don’t plan on getting a job involved with clay or painting because I love being able to have free will with my creative abilities. After High School, I plan to become a photographer or a cosmetologist.” – Alyzibeth Potter
