Apply for the 2026 Girard Art Walk
PROSPECTUS
The 2026 Girard Art Walk invites regional artists living in the Northwestern Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York region to apply for an open call for artists to exhibit work during the 2026 Girard Art Walk, located in Girard, PA on June 5th, 2026. The individuals chosen to participate in the Girard Art Walk will be paired with a local business where they will display their work during the event. All sales of art made during the Girard Art Walk will go 100% to the artist.
DIRECTIONS FOR ENTRY
Artists are required to submit their contact information and a brief statement, along with 5 samples of their work.
DEADLINE
The deadline for submitting application is Friday, May 15th 2026 at 5:00pm.
Artists will be notified of their status and their assigned business location on Monday, May 19th 2026.
DELIVERY
Artists are responsible for the delivery of their work to their assigned business participant display area. The Girard Art Walk will not be responsible for any damage incurred in transit or post-exhibition.
LIMITATIONS
The Girard Art Walk will endeavor to best pair artists and local businesses based on the sizing and medium of the art submitted. The installation process and des-installation times will be negotiated between the artist and the business participant they are paired with. All entries must have been conceived and created by the artist submitting the work and must have been created in the last 10 years. All work selected must be ready for exhibit: 2D work does not need to be framed, but canvases need to be stretched and all 2D pieces need to have with secure hanging devices; 3D work must be suitably prepared with instructions for installation. Work may not be drilled into the ceiling or the floor. Contact the Girard Art Walk at girardartwalk@gmail.com directly to confirm for accommodations.
