Our History
Founded in 2021, under the leadership of Director Simone Welsh, M.F.A, the Girard Art Walk strives to bring the magic of fine arts to West County. Now in our 5th year, the Girard Art Walk continues to grow and promote the fantastic art our region has to offer.
Our Vision
The Girard Art Walk is a juried one day art event held the first Friday in June in Girard, Pennsylvania. We pair local businesses along Main Street in Girard with artists from the area where they are given the opportunity to exhibit their work in a solo show capacity.
2025 was our largest to date, with 23 participating businesses, over 50 visual artists, 8 poetry & spoken word artists, and five musical performances on three separate stages. We hope to make 2026 even bigger and better!
