Our History
Founded in 2021, by Gina Welsh and former Girard Art Walk director Abi Pooler, the Girard Art Walk strives to bring the magic of fine arts to West County. Now in our second year under the leadership of Director Simone Welsh, we continue to grow and promote the fantastic art our region has to offer.
Our Vision
The Girard Art Walk is a one day event held the first Friday in June. We pair local businesses along Main Street in Girard with artists from the area where they are given the opportunity to exhibit their work in a solo show capacity. 2025 will our largest to date, with 21 participating businesses, over 40 visual artists, 8 poetry & spoken word artists, and five musical performances on three separate stages.
